Experts from the city organization «SMEP» are installing road delineators and metal posts along pedestrian areas.

These actions contribute to: 
-    the safety of pedestrians – they prevent vehicles from driving onto sidewalks and green spaces; 
-    the organization of parking – they prevent chaotic parking, especially in narrow streets; 
-    the separation of traffic flows – delineators help maintain traffic lanes and reduce the risk of accidents. 

According to point 11.13 of the traffic rules, it is prohibited for vehicles to drive on sidewalks and pedestrian paths. Additionally, per point 15.10 of the traffic rules, parking on sidewalks is also forbidden. 

Sidewalks — these are spaces for pedestrians, elderly individuals, and those with mobility challenges. It is essential to ensure their safety and comfort, especially near healthcare facilities and areas with high pedestrian activity.
