Buildings in Odesa that utilize centralized heating services are now fully equipped with heating meters that have passed certification.
The specialists of the «TMO» utility have installed 268 new meters. These meters are placed in buildings where previous devices were either broken beyond repair or had never been installed before.
Additionally, instances of meter theft have been recorded, prompting the specialists to install new devices in those cases as well.
Residents of buildings with meters pay for heating based on actual consumption data.
If a meter is not installed, charges are calculated according to the government Methodology No. 315, which determines heating costs based on the thermal load of the building, the duration of heat supply, and the average monthly outdoor temperature.
