Residents of Odessa are urged to be cautious about potential unauthorized interventions in the heating systems of their residential buildings. 

Recently, the staff of the «JKS «Cheryomushki» responded to a request from the residents of the building located at Herenieva Street, 10, regarding the need to drain water from the heating riser to install new radiators. 

During the inspection, it was found that the lock on the basement door had been replaced without permission by representatives of the company «Service Plus».

This company does not service the specified building, which made it difficult for utility workers to access the basement. 

According to the Act of Readiness for the Heating Season signed with the «City Heating Supply of Odessa», the staff of «JKS «Cheryomushki» must have free access to this area. 

The building is managed by the «JKS» as confirmed by the relevant contract. To carry out necessary operations, the utility workers cut the old lock, installed a new one, and completed all required work. 

«The request has been processed, the radiators have been replaced, and the entire system is functioning properly. The facility is ready for the 2024-2025 heating season,» said Alexander Musafir, the head of district №2 of «JKS «Cheryomushki». 

This is not the first incident where employees of previous managing companies have taken unauthorized actions regarding residential properties.
