Employees of the municipal enterprise «City Roads» are constantly engaged in the repair of public transport stops. Daily incidents of vandalism occur: unknown individuals leave graffiti, break benches, destroy trash cans, and smash glass at the stops. Additionally, stops suffer from traffic accidents.
Since the beginning of 2024, there have been 33 incidents of glass destruction at bus stops, along with damage to 33 benches, 85 trash cans, and 15 roofs. Company specialists also clean the stops from writings and announcements left by vandals.
A total of 1,012 public transport stops are under the management of «City Roads».
The company’s specialists regularly conduct maintenance of adjacent areas, repair and restore benches, trash cans, and pavilions, as well as wash and paint them.
The Odessa City Council once again appeals to residents and visitors to treat municipal property with care. Intentional destruction or damage to such property is punishable by law.
