Lecture Honoring the Victims of the Holodomor in Odesa

At the Museum of Genocide "Territory of Memory" in Odesa, a special event was organized for social studies teachers in honor of the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Holodomor.

During the event, participants focused on the historical lessons of genocides that took place in Ukraine in the 20th century, emphasizing their relevance in the context of the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war.

Educators were also introduced to new educational projects initiated by the museum and provided with guidance on teaching the tragic events of the Holodomor, taking into account the age-related characteristics of students and current wartime conditions in Ukraine.

Teachers discovered previously unknown aspects of the Holodomor's history in the Odesa region through an engaging and fact-rich lecture, which illustrated the signs of genocide against Ukrainian peasants in 1932-1933.

In addition, attendees explored the exhibition at the museum "Territory of Memory," dedicated to the theme of genocides.
