Daily Efforts of Municipal Services for City Cleanliness

Every day, around 1200 municipal workers strive to maintain cleanliness across city territories. They employ both manual labor and specialized equipment to wash and clean the streets, as well as to care for urban communications and green spaces.

In addition to routine cleaning, municipal workers carry out scheduled maintenance and repairs of storm drains and essential hydraulic structures, including buffer ponds and canals.

With the arrival of spring and favorable weather, municipal services also engage in washing non-heritage monuments, repairing and repainting them as necessary.

As the fountain season approaches, specialists undertake the tasks of decommissioning and setting up equipment.

Landscapers perform pruning of roses, bushes, and trees, along with seeding lawns and tidying up flower beds.

Odessa's cemeteries are maintained in proper sanitary conditions, with workers clearing away last year's leaves, overgrowth, and trash.

Additionally, daily tasks include cleaning adjacent territories, where municipal workers eliminate illegal dumping sites and tidy up communal areas.
