Recent analysis of water in 16 public wells in Odesa has confirmed its compliance with hygiene standards.

This information was released by the Odesa City Council.

The tests were conducted by specialists from the State Institution "Odesa Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine" under an agreement with the Utility Company "Service Center". Testing is carried out monthly.

According to microbiological tests conducted as of March 31, 2025, the water in the public wells complies with the sanitary requirements of DSanPin 2.2.4-171-10. All research protocols are available for review directly at the wells.

It is noteworthy that approximately 45,000 residents of Odesa use water from these wells daily. The wells have depths ranging from 111 to 149 meters, with an average daily consumption of 8–12 cubic meters per well.
