Have you lost your vehicle documents or have they been stolen? This can happen to anyone, especially in today's challenging times when citizen safety is at risk. What should you do in such a situation? It’s important to stay calm and follow the new guidelines.
Restoration of driver's documents can be done at any regional service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. If you cannot be present in person, you can issue a power of attorney to another person to represent your interests.
You will need the following documents:
- passport or ID card with a registration mark of your residence;
- copy of the taxpayer identification number;
- police report if the documents were stolen.
The estimated cost of services is 350 UAH for administrative services and 540 UAH for the certificate form. You also have the option to change the license plate or keep the existing one. The re-registration process and issuance of documents occur on the same day of application. Additionally, during re-registration, you can request an electronic certificate of vehicle registration.
More information on vehicle re-registration procedures can be found on the website of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Remember, services at territorial divisions require prior registration through the E-Registration system or at the terminal located in the service center.
Consultations regarding services can be obtained by calling (044) 290-19-88 or on the pages of the Main Service Center on social media. For useful information, visit the website.
