The Odesa region is hosting a Latvian delegation headed by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economics of Latvia, Edmunds Valantis.

This was reported by the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

During the meeting, the following topics were discussed:

— the overall situation in the region;

— the potential for Latvian involvement in the concession of the Black Sea Commercial Port;

— support for the region's energy system;

— the development of business contacts in a roundtable format with entrepreneurs from Odesa and Latvia.

«We have longstanding interregional ties with Latvia — a signed agreement with the Vidzeme Planning Region, partnership support, and a true friendship that stands the test of time», – emphasized the administration.
