For the third consecutive day, electricity consumption is rising in Ukraine.

This is reported by "Ukrenergo".

According to their data, on April 9 at 9:30 AM, the electricity consumption level was 1.1% higher than at the same time the previous day - Tuesday.

The company explains that the reason for this is the persistent cold weather across Ukraine, with nighttime frosts.

It is noted that on April 8, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening, which was 2% higher than the maximum of the previous day - Monday, April 7.

"Today, it remains essential to conserve electricity. Please limit the use of high-power appliances from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM," emphasized "Ukrenergo".

Recall:

As a result of a significant drop in temperature on the morning of April 7, electricity consumption exceeded the level of the previous working day - April 4 - by 16%.

On April 8, electricity consumption continued to remain high. As of 9:30 AM, the consumption level was 2.3% higher than at the same time the previous day - Monday.

"Ukrenergo" denied information about a possible return of power outages.
