The Odesa region is actively adopting modern educational initiatives: preparations for specialized schools are ongoing.
The Deputy Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Anton Shalyhaiilo, and the director of the Education Department, Oleksandr Lonchak, participated in a presentation of new approaches to educational space organization held in Kyiv with representatives from government and the educational community.
This event, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, aimed to discuss further cooperation in creating new educational laboratories and workshops in general and vocational educational institutions.
The government has allocated nearly UAH 500 million for the modernization of specialized school classrooms. The call for project applications for obtaining subsidies in 2025 for creating modern educational environments has already been announced.
Well-equipped classrooms will foster the successful implementation of high school reform, allowing students to choose their study profiles and subjects according to their interests and future aspirations starting in 2027.
