Fire Hazard Alert in Ukraine: A Warning for Citizens

In most regions of Ukraine, excluding Crimea, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Transcarpathian regions, a high fire hazard level has been announced from April 29 to May 1.

This information comes from the Ukrainian Meteorological Center.

During this period, Ukraine will experience an elevated risk of both forest and field fires. The most dangerous conditions are expected in central, southern, eastern, and parts of northern regions.

The extraordinary (fifth) level of fire hazard entails a complete ban on open flames in forests, fields, and near populated areas. Rescue services urge citizens to adhere to fire safety rules, refrain from burning dry grass, and avoid leaving unextinguished fires in nature.
