A team of Canadian experts visited a unit in Odesa — chemical and radiological protection specialist Duane Bright and strategic advisor Vitaliy Milentyev.

The guests explored the operations of our unit that focuses on emergency responses related to chemical hazards. They inspected the chemical-radiometric laboratory, modern equipment, protective suits, detection devices for harmful substances, and respiratory protection systems.

The meeting concluded in a friendly atmosphere with discussions about the challenges faced by rescue chemists in Canada and Ukraine, shared experiences, and memorable gifts from our foreign colleagues.
