A fire broke out in a private residence in Odesa. As a result of the blaze, a man was hospitalized in moderate condition. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.

The fire happened yesterday, June 20, during the day in the Peresyp district of the city. An incident occurred on Sashko Khoryshchenko Street where household items caught fire in a single-story private house. The fire was promptly extinguished.

"As a result of the fire, a citizen born in 1962 was hospitalized in a medical facility in moderate condition. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are being investigated. Four units of equipment and 21 firefighters were involved from the State Emergency Service," the statement said.
