Drone Strikes in Odesa: Aftermath and Government Response

On the night of July 2nd to 3rd, enemy drones launched an attack on Odesa. As a result, a high-rise building was significantly damaged, with initial assessments indicating danger in one of the entrances.

An operational city headquarters is currently on-site managing the aftermath of the attack.

Once the fire was extinguished, the city headquarters promptly began their work with the residents of the affected building.

First Deputy Mayor of Odesa, Oleksandr Filatov, held a meeting with the residents to discuss pressing issues.

A clear plan of action was established: building inspection, technical report preparation, assistance with temporary housing, and provision of material aid.

Experts from the Odesa Construction Academy have been involved in the inspection, with rector Anatoliy Kovrov coordinating the engineers' efforts.

Access to apartments was also organized for residents to retrieve essential belongings.

The city and humanitarian headquarters continue to operate, while municipal services clear debris from the area.
