As of November 23, 2024, traffic has been restricted on Vitaliy Blazhko Lane (formerly Marinezka) in Odessa due to the construction of a new drainage system. This work aims to prevent landslides by redirecting groundwater, especially during heavy rainfall, thereby avoiding further subsidence of the area.
Due to the continuation of the drainage system construction, traffic restrictions on Vitaliy Blazhko Lane (formerly Marinezka) will be extended until August 2, 2025.
This information has been confirmed by the city mayor.
In light of the ongoing work, temporary changes will be made to the city public transport routes:
- bus routes No. 168, 240, 250
Heading towards the Pervysipsky Bridges – from Pasteur Street to Olhiyivska Street (left turn), Staropodofrankivska Street, Olihiyivsky Lane, Balkivska Street, Chornomorsky Kozak Street, and then following the routes;
- bus routes No. 105, 121, 145, 146, 242
Heading towards the Pervysipsky Bridges - from Preobrazhensky Street to Futurist Lane (Mayakovsky Lane), Military Lane, Primorska Street, Chornomorsky Kozak Street, and then following the routes;
- tram route No. 7
From Chornomorsky Kozak Street to the 28th Brigade Street (Paustovsky Street) and back.
The tram route No. 3 “16th st. Lustdorf Road – Pasteur Street” will operate with a stop at Starosinna Square.
