Enhancing Accessibility in Odesa: New Ramps Installed

Since the beginning of this year, 71 new ramps have been installed at pedestrian crossings in Odesa. The city has approved an Action Plan for creating a barrier-free environment for 2025-2026. The implementation of these measures is monitored by the Council for Barrier-Free Access under the Odesa Mayor.

Specialists from the Municipal Enterprise "City Roads" are actively working on the installation of ramps at pedestrian crossings in the city.

So far, a total of 71 ramps have been installed (Primorsky district - 51 units, Khadzhibey district - 9 units, Kyiv district - 4 units, Peresyp district - 7 units).

As part of the Barrier-Free Program, 29 ramps have been established since May 1, 2025 (Primorsky district - 22 units, Khadzhibey district - 3 units, Kyiv district - 2 units, Peresyp district - 2 units).

Additionally, tactile paving has been installed on 16 ramps (Primorsky district - 11 units, Khadzhibey district - 3 units, Kyiv district - 2 units).

The work is ongoing.
