From September 2nd, the tram route No. 7 in Odesa will be back in operation, providing direct connections between the city's most remote areas — from 28th Brigade Street to the 11th station of Lyustdorfskaya Road.
The route covers over 120 stops and transports up to 70 thousand passengers daily.
The Mayor of Odesa, Gennady Trukhanov, emphasized that the repair works on Blazhko descent (formerly Marinskoe descent) are completed, all tests have been conducted, and starting tomorrow, 13 new multi-section, comfortable, and barrier-free trams purchased through cooperation with the European Investment Bank will be on the route.
Additionally, from September 2nd, the tram route No. 3, which operated between the 11th station of Lyustdorfskaya Road and Pasteur Street, will be discontinued.
