Today, October 1st, we celebrate Day of Defenders of Ukraine . This day is dedicated to honoring the indomitable spirit of those who fought for Ukraine's independence in the past, as well as the modern heroes — soldiers, veterans, and volunteers who are currently defending our nation.

The Mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, sent his greetings on this occasion:

You prevent fear from settling in our hearts. Thanks to you, we have hope for the future. We do not just thank you; we actively support you: we work, volunteer, and pray. We are not just waiting — we are building a country to which you will return victorious. May every «thank you» we say become your armor. May every child's smile, every peaceful morning, and every new day be proof that your fight is not in vain. May the Lord protect Ukraine!»
