Employees of the municipal enterprise «Miskzelentrest» have started preparations for the winter season concerning the greenery of Odesa. 

This autumn, according to the approved plan, 1064 young trees will be planted in the city - large saplings of deciduous species with soil clumps for better adaptation. Specifically, 330 saplings (white acacia, maple, common ash, Japanese sophora, Western plane) are set to be planted where stumps have been removed.

The tree planting will begin approximately at the start of November.

Additionally, the landscapers have already begun preparing the greenhouses located at the «Troyanda» site for winter. The greenhouses operate year-round, and currently, seeds for annuals are being sown, firewood is being prepared, and the greenhouses are being covered with polyethylene film.

Starting from the beginning of November, work will also begin on winterizing the irrigation systems. The municipal enterprise «Miskzelentrest» manages about 50 irrigation systems located in various districts of the city, including parks and squares.
