In Odesa, the quality of artesian water in public wells is regularly analyzed by the State Institution «Odesa Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine».
According to an agreement with the Municipal Enterprise «Service Center», water testing is conducted on a monthly basis.
As of October 2025, the purified drinking water from the public wells meets the sanitary norms DSanPIN 2.2.4-171-10.

Additional Information
Odesa has 17 public wells with depths ranging from 111 to 149 meters. All wells are maintained by the Municipal Enterprise «Service Center». Estimates suggest that around 45 thousand residents use these water stations daily, consuming an average of 8 – 12 cubic meters of water from one well. The water is accessible to everyone.
