Volunteers in Odesa: Hope and Support During Crisis

Today, on the special occasion of International Volunteer Day, Odesa expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the teams of public and charitable organizations who, alongside municipal services, are addressing the aftermath of hostile attacks. This was reported by the press service of the Odesa City Council.

Volunteers are among the first to respond, offering support to those affected and warming their hearts with kindness:

  • World Central Kitchen (WCK);
  • Hromada Hub;
  • Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS);
  • NGO "Food of Life Odesa";
  • Charity Fund "Reach for the Sky";
  • Nova Ukraine;
  • Association "Council of Cities";
  • International Rescue Committee (IRC);
  • Dobrobat (All-Ukrainian Volunteer Construction Battalion);
  • UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA);
  • Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) in partnership with Howard G. Buffett Foundation (HGBF);
  • NGO "Morning of Revival";
  • Caritas Ukraine;
  • NGO "Your City".

A special thanks is extended to the head of the charity fund "Reach for the Sky", advisor to the acting mayor of Odesa, Veronika Etnarovich, who coordinates the interaction between NGOs and the city authorities. Such teamwork proves to be effective and allows reaching out to everyone in need of assistance.
