With the onset of prolonged rainfall in Odesa, special equipment from the municipal enterprise «City Roads» has been promptly deployed to prevent possible flooding on the city's streets.

Currently, traffic on the city roads is clear. Partial flooding has occurred at 5th st. V. Fontana and Yarmarkova Street. In total, 344 specialists and 46 units of special equipment are operating on the streets.

In case of prolonged rain, like today, specialized water pumping machines, including a high-pressure hydrodynamic unit based on a MAN truck, are typically stationed on the streets: Balkivska, Prymorska, Yevhen Chykalenka, Heavenly Hundred, on French Boulevard and Customs Square, where flooding is usually likely during heavy rain.

Additionally, employees of the municipal enterprise «City Roads» are on the streets using excavators with special attachments or manually clearing storm drains and sewer wells of debris, branches, and leaves carried there by rainwater flows.
