On January 30, 2025, the city stage of the XXIV All-Ukrainian Student Creativity Contest «Let’s Unite, My Brothers!» was held for students of grades 5-11 in general secondary education institutions.
This year, the epigraph for the creative works was taken from the words of Taras Shevchenko: «Our thought, our song will not die, will not perish... Where, people, is our glory, Glory to Ukraine!», and the theme of the works was «Creating for the Future».
Sixty-three students from grades 6-11 of community-owned educational institutions in Odessa participated in the contest.
The jury noted that all works were imbued with patriotism and pride for Ukraine's heroic past and present. The authors revealed the processes of development and renewal of various aspects of national culture and their role in the struggle for the independence of Ukraine while preserving the positive achievements of previous years.
Particular attention was given to the contributions of outstanding regional artists and scholars to the cultural life of Ukraine.
In the nomination «History of Ukraine and State Building», the jury noted the logical presentation of material, research character, and the participants' ability to work with historical sources. In the «Literature» nomination, students provided a variety of creative works, including essays, stories, and poetry.
Based on the jury's decision, the winners of the city stage of the XXIV All-Ukrainian Student Creativity Contest were awarded diplomas from the Department of Education and Science of the Odessa City Council. Teachers who prepared the winners received acknowledgments.
