During October-November 2024, the Municipal Institution for Extracurricular Education «Odesa City Center for Choreographic Arts» hosted a charity artistic project titled «Open Your Palms for Good» alongside a nationwide seminar-practicum on «Styling Ukrainian Folk Dance and Methodical Approaches to Teaching Contemporary Dance in Choreographic Groups».

This event was organized in collaboration with the National Choreographic Union of Ukraine and the Odesa Regional Organization of the National Choreographic Union of Ukraine.

Funds raised from ticket sales for the concert «Open Your Palms for Good» were allocated to purchase equipment necessary for servicemen undergoing treatment in Odesa’s medical facilities.

The seminar-practicum featured master classes by leading experts in choreography, demonstration lessons, and discussions on pressing issues in teaching contemporary dance in children's choreographic groups.

All participants received certificates of professional development upon completing the seminar.
