New Campaign Against Violence in Ukraine

Every year from November 25 to December 10, a new campaign takes place in Ukraine dedicated to combating violence.

The primary goal of this initiative is to engage youth in discussions about domestic violence, human trafficking, and women's rights. The Odessa region will host thematic events aimed at fostering an intolerant attitude toward violence.

Throughout November and December, young residents of Odessa will participate in contests, flash mobs, and events in honor of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

Schools will organize thematic educational hours, exhibitions of children's artwork, workshops, training sessions, interactive games, and video screenings related to violence.

For high school students, interactive games promoting safety and collaboration between youth and police are planned.

During the campaign, the results of the contest “How I Understand Gender” will also be summarized.

For educators, a film club meeting will be held to discuss relevant films, along with seminars on collaboration with other organizations to prevent violence.

Psychologists will address the issues of preventing violence and bullying during training sessions and workshops.

With the participation of representatives from state and non-governmental organizations, informational lectures for parents will be held on the topic “Family – A Space Without Violence.”
