Students in Odesa Shine at National Physics Olympiad

Students from Odesa achieved remarkable results at the national physics olympiad, winning two silver and three bronze medals. All the winners are pupils of the Richelieu Scientific Lyceum, showcasing a high level of knowledge among 150 participants from various regions. This was reported by Oleksandr Lonchak, the director of the education department of Odesa Regional State Administration.

According to the competition results, II degree diplomas were awarded to Nazar Vrashchuk (10th grade, competed in 11th) and Yurii Semenov-Hamarov (10th grade). The third place was taken by Kostyantyn Bordiian (9th grade), Dmytro Loshkaruk, and Lev Shevchenko (8th grade). One of the winners, Nazar Vrashchuk, also received an invitation to the selection training camp for candidates to the Ukrainian national team for the International Physics Olympiad.

The contributions of the physics teachers at the Richelieu Lyceum – Andrii Katz, Vadym Manakin, and Oksana Kolesnikova – who prepared the winners for the competition were also highlighted.
