Third-year students from the Institute of Law and Security had a unique chance to gain valuable knowledge from a law enforcement specialist who discussed the importance of collaboration between investigators and operational units, sharing practical experiences in the fight against drug crime.
«Combating drug crime is a complex and multifaceted process that requires coordinated efforts from all police units. It is crucial not just to apprehend drug dealers but also to identify and dismantle drug labs, as well as track the entire supply chain to dependent individuals,» Chekmarov stated.
During the session, students learned about the specifics of conducting covert investigative operations and the methods and forms of operational search activities in this field.
The demonstration of photo and video materials from locations of drug-related crimes sparked particular interest among the students.
