The "Diesel Show" team participated in a rehabilitation program for individuals with disabilities in Odesa.
Diving has become a new step in the recovery process for people with disabilities.
Underwater, a person experiences a sense of lightness, as if their weight has vanished, which is particularly significant for those who have undergone amputations. The water alleviates stress on joints and muscles, allowing for relaxation while simultaneously training. Every movement underwater becomes smoother and more controlled, aiding in the restoration of coordination.
"By utilizing available resources like the sea and fresh air, along with the involvement of specialists, we managed to create conditions for training in open water diving. During one of the dives, the "Diesel Show" team joined us, helping our veterans engage confidently and joyfully with the instructors," said Vasyl Ryback, head of the rehabilitation service at the city's Department of Health.
The show's performers also attended adaptive billiards training sessions.
