HIV tests are available for free at all hospitals, primary healthcare centers, diagnostic centers, maternity hospitals, and women's clinics.

Anyone can learn their HIV status for free within 15 minutes at a family doctor’s office or in a hospital. Rapid tests are provided under the City Health Program.

In the first 9 months of 2025, 29,240 people underwent HIV testing in Odesa's medical facilities, leading to the discovery of 268 positive cases.

Patients with positive results are referred to the City Center for HIV Prevention and Treatment for further examination and to receive free antiretroviral therapy, allowing them to live fulfilling lives.

The organization of HIV testing and the work of multidisciplinary teams in Odesa have received high praise from both domestic and global experts.
