Digital Innovations in Odesa's Healthcare

In a bid to introduce cutting-edge digital technologies in healthcare, the Odesa City Council has signed a cooperation agreement with the leading medical information system Helsi.

This agreement aims to enhance medical services for patients and doctors, particularly through the implementation of innovative digital solutions that will improve interactions between healthcare facilities and the public. This will enable rapid access to detailed analytical reports in a standardized format, reducing manual reporting and facilitating prompt management decisions in the healthcare sector.

Another critical aspect of the collaboration is the establishment of a convenient digital service for medical support of veterans. The partnership with Helsi will allow for a clear path to accessing medical assistance for veterans: online appointment booking, a clear sequence of next steps, and organized support within connected medical facilities. This minimizes bureaucracy and maximizes support.

Additionally, within the framework of the agreement, there are plans to enhance public awareness about the National Program “Screening 40+” and to create accessible conditions for its utilization through push notifications and online appointments at convenient medical institutions.

“Barrier-free access and digitalization are essential components of the modern healthcare system in Odesa. This partnership is about practical changes: shorter queues, greater accessibility, transparent processes, and modern services for people,” emphasized Elena Kolodenko, the Director of the Odesa City Health Department.
