A man in Odesa has been accused of stabbing an acquaintance, leading to severe injuries. He is now facing potential imprisonment.

According to police reports, the incident occurred last week in the evening on 7th Peresyp Street.

A 42-year-old local resident, under the influence of alcohol, confronted his 27-year-old acquaintance over unpaid debts for a power bank. During the ensuing altercation, the older man stabbed the younger one in the abdomen and chest before fleeing the scene.

Passersby called for an ambulance, and the victim was taken to the hospital. Doctors reported that he sustained serious injuries requiring urgent medical attention.

The victim was in critical condition and unable to provide information about his attacker. However, the police quickly located the suspect with the assistance of a police dog that followed the scent to him.
