The final of the Ukrainian Youth Basketball Championship took place in Ternopil, featuring teams from the All-Ukrainian Youth Basketball League for players born in 2012.

The decisive match was held between the SDYUSSHOR-5 team from Dnipro and Uzhhorod-ZODYUSSH.

The reigning champions, SDYUSSHOR-5, showcased an outstanding performance throughout the season, remaining unbeaten, and convincingly won the final match with a score of 96:58.

In the match for third place, the Odessa team SDYUSSHOR named after B.D. Litvak overcame the Cherkasy Monkeys with a score of 71:62. Ivan Vasilyev, recognized as one of the season's top players, scored 30 points for his team.

The young athletes were prepared by coaches Igor Solovey, Valery Balashov, and Vladislav Yanaki.

In the specialized out-of-school educational institutions of Odessa, 394 young athletes are engaged in basketball.
