Mykhailo Fedorov, the Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology, announced the launch of an AI assistant on the Diya platform. The beta test will commence in June. This assistant will help users obtain necessary services, find the nearest administrative center, and in the future, interact through voice commands.
«We have fundamentally rethought our approach to Diya. In 2019-2020, we made significant strides in building a user-friendly application for swift service access. However, with the rise of AI, we must adapt to new consumer expectations. Anything that does not resemble ChatGPT or other popular models requires reassessment. Our goal is to transform Diya into an AI-driven product», — emphasized Mykhailo Fedorov.
During the DOU Day event, the Vice Prime Minister shared that the beta version of the AI assistant will be available on the Diya portal in June. Users will not only be able to access services through AI but will also be able to find answers to questions, such as whether a specific certificate is required for travel abroad and how to locate the nearest administrative center.
It is also planned for the AI agent to send certificates, and in the future, it will fully automate the service acquisition process. For instance, you can describe your situation, and the AI will suggest which services you need. If you write: «A rocket hit my house», the AI agent will understand that you require the eRecovery service and will guide you to submit photos and a request for assistance.
In the future, it will be possible to make requests using voice commands and interact with Diya just like you do with other AI models.
