Google's Innovation: A New Approach to Analytics with Gemini

Google has introduced a new feature within Gemini, integrating Workspace services to generate in-depth analytical reports based on user data. Now, Gemini can analyze emails, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and chats for information gathering.
Deep Research first formulates a request plan, then conducts a series of searches and compiles the results into a structured report. Users have the option to refine the output or export it to Google Docs, or even create a podcast based on the gathered data.
According to Google, Deep Research can perform market analysis by utilizing team correspondence, Drive documents, and project plans. For instance, the AI can compile a competitor report by merging public information with corporate files or chats in Google Chat.
The Gemini interface now includes a selection of sources: users can separately grant access to Google Search, Gmail, Drive, or Chat. All connections are made solely with user consent, and Google claims that the data is not used for model training.
Currently, Deep Research is available only in the desktop version of Gemini, but the company plans to roll out support for mobile devices in the coming days. Initially, the feature will be available to Workspace and Gemini Advanced users, after which it will be more broadly accessible.
Additionally, recently Gemini introduced a feature for creating presentations at the user's request.
