Enhanced Features of Google Finance with AI Integration

Google is continuously incorporating artificial intelligence into its services. Recently, the company announced the introduction of a new feature called Deep Search for Google Finance, leveraging Gemini models along with support for data from prediction markets.
The Deep Search feature will enable users to pose more intricate questions to the Google Finance chatbot and receive comprehensive, well-sourced answers. According to Robert Dannett, the product management director at Google Search, this tool creates "thorough research responses in just a few minutes" and displays a search plan so that users can understand the AI's logic.
This feature is set to launch in the United States within the coming weeks, and eager users can gain early access via the Google Labs platform. The company plans to limit the number of queries, but subscribers to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra will enjoy higher limits.
In addition to AI functionalities, Google Finance will integrate data from prediction markets like Kalshi and Polymarket, allowing users to check current market probabilities for economic events, such as GDP growth rates or FTC decisions. Last week, Google also added an "Earnings" tab to track company reports in real-time.
The updated version of Google Finance has begun rolling out in India, supporting English and Hindi, although the Deep Search feature is not yet available there.
It's worth noting that Google has also integrated Gemini into Google Maps for a more conversational interaction with the app, as well as Deep Search into Gmail, Drive, and Chat.
