The Ministry of Digital Transformation, along with NVIDIA, has initiated a groundbreaking project to develop a national infrastructure based on artificial intelligence technologies. This was announced by the ministry's press service.
«We are joining forces with NVIDIA, a global leader in computational solutions for AI, to implement a collaborative initiative in the AI sector. Our goal is to establish an independent artificial intelligence platform with a robust infrastructure and highly skilled workforce», the statement reads.
It is emphasized that the company's expertise will enable the launch of innovative and secure services for the government and defense sectors.
The first joint project will focus on the development of Diia AI LLM - a national language model tailored to Ukrainian legislation and public needs. All AI services within the «Diia» ecosystem will be based on Diia AI LLM, including the already presented AI assistant, the future assistant in the mobile application, and internal solutions for the government.
As part of this initiative, Ukraine will gain access to NVIDIA's specialized software stack for developing AI products - from infrastructure to software; technical expertise that will accelerate model training and reduce costs; and consulting and technical support from NVIDIA's team, including expert participation in structured workshops and architectural review sessions.
An AI Factory will be established in Ukraine - an infrastructure that will support key government AI services, primarily the AI assistant in «Diia». In the future, this infrastructure will also be used for an AI tutor in «Mriya», and eventually, the project will extend to defense, science, and medicine.
