The Mayor of Odessa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, met with German politician Ralph Fuchs and MariLuise Beck, the director of Eastern and Central Europe at the Centre for Liberal Modernity.

During the meeting, they addressed the current security and humanitarian situation in Odessa, the conditions of internally displaced persons, and cooperation with international partners.

They also focused on energy issues and preparations for the upcoming heating season.

In Odessa, a project to beautify the "Against Oblivion" park is being implemented in collaboration with the Centre for Liberal Modernity and the German GIZ agency.

Due to the full-scale invasion, the project has been suspended, and the funds provided by German partners have been redirected to civilian needs, including generators and medical supplies.

The agency has also delivered humanitarian aid to Odessa, including ambulances, pickup trucks, and other essential equipment.
