International Delegation Visits Odesa

An international delegation representing the Executive Board of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is currently in Odesa.

This significant visit was organized by UNDP in Ukraine in collaboration with UNOPS and UNFPA, featuring five UN ambassadors and other esteemed guests.

During their visit, the delegation toured various projects supported by the UN to gain insight into local implementation.

The city's mayor expressed gratitude for the assistance provided, particularly in the renovation of one of the wards at Hospital No. 8.

Gennadiy Trukhanov emphasized that the facility plays a crucial role, as it has treated victims of hostile attacks requiring urgent medical care, thanks to the skilled staff and modern equipment available.

Additionally, the meeting participants discussed future cooperation opportunities, including attracting international investments for infrastructure projects such as the reconstruction of sewage systems and housing for internally displaced persons.
