Restoration works at the building on Sofiivska Street are currently ongoing. The reinforcement of walls and roofing in the most damaged area has been completed. Only a small section of the roof remains to be repaired. 
 
Today, October 31, 2024, Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov met with residents to discuss pressing issues. Key tasks include installing a ceiling between the new roof and apartments, restoring windows and heating systems, as well as repairing staircases in one of the entrances. 
 
The mayor emphasized the importance of partnerships with charitable and public organizations providing construction materials, which helps expedite the restoration process. He expressed hope for continued cooperation, noting that budget procedures take a considerable amount of time, especially for a building of architectural significance. 

The mayor thanked the "Morning of Revival" charitable foundation, the "April Tenth" NGO, and UNHCR for their ongoing support and provision of materials. 
 
Emergency works at the building on Sofiivska Street are being carried out by "JKS Porto-Frankivsk" with the support and coordination of the Odesa Mayor's humanitarian advisor, Veronika Etnarovych.
