Final Event of EU4Culture Program in Chișinău

Chișinău (Moldova) hosts a two-day concluding event of the EU4Culture program, an initiative of the European Union aimed at fostering cultural development in the Eastern Partnership countries, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.

Representatives from various cities, artists, and cultural sector experts who have developed their strategies under the EU4Culture initiative are participating. They are exchanging experiences and building national and international partnerships.

"Odesa joined the project only in mid-2023, but has already made several significant achievements",

-  noted Ivan Liptuga, the Director of the Department of Culture, International Cooperation, and Eurointegration of Odesa City Council.

He shared insights about the work on the "Odesa Cultural Development Strategy 2025-2035" - a document that will serve as a foundation for the city's cultural sector growth, alongside other significant initiatives:

- guide on preserving Odesa's cultural heritage;

- manual for designing Odesa's signage;

- visualization of Odesa's symbols – creating 3D models of the city's iconic symbols and other initiatives.

The strategic vision for Odesa's cultural development has been crafted in collaboration with cultural actors, creative industry representatives, and NGOs. The document will be presented to the Odesa City Council for consideration.
