In 2025, families welcoming a new child will be able to receive financial support for purchasing necessary baby items, known as the «baby bundle».

This one-time payment is intended to assist families in securing essential items for infants, including hygiene products, clothing, toys, and more.

The compensation is provided to parents of newborns and guardians in a cashless form through specially opened bank accounts participating in the program.

The amount of financial assistance equals three subsistence minimums for children under six years old, amounting to 7689 UAH as of January 1, 2025.

Applications for compensation can be submitted:

• in person to social services;
• by mail;
• electronically through the «eMaljatko» service.

The request must be submitted within one year from the date of birth.

Funds received must be used within a year for purchasing baby goods at participating stores.

Additionally, parents can receive natural assistance in the form of the «baby bundle», containing over 50 essential items, including new additions like reusable diapers and educational books from UNICEF.
