Odessa's municipal services are diligently preparing for spring. The specialists of the «Service Center» are getting the fountain equipment ready for their launch in the new season of 2025. Traditionally, the first fountain to be launched in Odessa will be the one at Theater Square on April 1.

Currently, the specialists are preparing for the reopening of fountains located at Theater Square, in the Victory Dendropark (the «Mermaid» fountain), in the Cosmonauts Square, at Soborna Square, and the largest fountain at the corner of Ak. Zabolotny Street and Krymsky Boulevard.

The reopening process is conducted in stages, and by the end of April, all Odessa fountains are expected to delight residents and visitors with their beauty and freshness. However, due to current circumstances, unfortunately, not all fountains can be activated.

To maintain the fountain equipment in working condition during the winter, functional elements such as nozzles, motors, and pumping equipment were dismantled and stored in specially designated areas.

Moreover, the workers perform daily cleaning and washing of the facilities and areas they manage.

Currently, ongoing repairs are taking place in the water dispensing area, as well as cleaning fallen leaves from the roof and clearing the drainage systems of the water supply complex located on I. Rabin Street.

Additionally, specialists are conducting repairs of the tiled pavement and taps in the water dispensing area of the water supply complex in Starobazarniy Square.

The employees of the «Service Center» maintain the public fountains, memorial monuments that are not architectural landmarks, ponds in the Victory Park, modular protective structures, and the adjacent areas throughout the year.
