Vandalism Issues at Public Transport Stops

The Municipal Enterprise «City Roads» is responsible for 884 public transport stops, including 605 with pavilions and 279 without. The company's specialists regularly perform sanitary cleaning of the surrounding area, repair bins, benches, and pavilions, as well as washing and painting them.

Unfortunately, vandalism remains a significant issue. Since the beginning of the year, nine vandalism acts have been recorded.

Every day, unidentified individuals leave graffiti, break benches, and uproot bins along with concrete, as well as shatter glass walls of the transport complexes. Additionally, public transport stops are occasionally damaged due to traffic accidents.

The Odessa city council once again urges residents and visitors to treat communal property with care. Deliberate damage and destruction of municipal property can lead to criminal liability.
