On the evening of February 28, a drone attack targeted the Odesa region, with the type and number of drones currently being established. The Odesa district suffered strikes, resulting in the death of one man, according to the prosecutor's office.

A 41-year-old man lost his life due to the attack, while three others sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital. Damage occurred to a private house, a private enterprise, a sports facility, as well as passenger and cargo vehicles.

The site is under examination, and a complete list of damages is yet to be compiled. Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the armed aggression.

“Under the procedural guidance of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding the commission of war crimes that resulted in a person's death (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region are conducting the pre-trial investigation,” the statement reads.
