In Odesa, scheduled improvement works are ongoing to enhance the green spaces along Mykolaivska Road and the median strip. A total of approximately 6800 m² of greenery is set to be treated. This information comes from the press service of the Odesa City Council.

The works are being carried out by specialists from the communal enterprises «Miskzelentrest» and «City Roads». Excess soil accumulated on the lawns is being removed, as it can lead to pollution of the roadway during rainfall and negatively affect the area’s appearance.

As of now, 4315 m² of coverage has been treated, and seeds of ryegrass have already been sown on an area of 4255 m². All works for lowering the soil level and sowing the lawn are expected to be completed by the end of March 2025.
