Gennadiy Kim's New Exhibition: Art and Inner Healing

«Gennadiy Kim's New Exhibition: Art and Inner Healing» will be held at the Odessa Museum of Personal Collections from March 20 to April 15, 2025.

At the exhibition, visitors will see new works created by artist, theologian, and educator Gennadiy Kim over the past two years. He will also introduce his own art therapy program and conduct creative meetings that help participants engage with their inner experiences.

Gennadiy Kim employs the technique of pointillism, allowing for optical color mixing effects that give his works a unique depth. Curator Maria Apryatova notes that Kim skillfully captures the nuances of color relationships that can only be observed in nature.

In his new compositions, the artist uses acrylic paint for the first time, which enhances the contrast of his works. The main idea of his painting lies in conveying the invisible through the visible, allowing viewers to feel thoughts and ideas through colors and shapes.

«Art is a reflection of the unknown, providing a means to express what is difficult to articulate in words. Art therapy, based on color, helps to understand and resolve spiritual issues,» says Gennadiy Kim.

Visiting hours: Thursday to Sunday, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
