Electric Vehicles in Ukraine: Trends for 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, Ukraine registered 12,800 battery electric vehicles (BEVs).

This information was reported by Ukravtoprom.

The regions with the highest registration figures include:

  • Lviv Region – 1,961 units (94% used);
  • Kyiv City – 1,632 units (68% used);
  • Kyiv Region – 1,120 units (76% used);
  • Dnipropetrovsk Region – 986 units (80% used);
  • Odesa Region – 761 units (76% used).

Among new vehicles, the most popular electric car was the BYD Song Plus EV.

Regarding imported used cars, the top models were:

  • TESLA Model Y – in Kyiv and its region.
  • TESLA Model 3 – in Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
  • NISSAN Leaf – in Odesa region.

As a reminder, in January-March, Ukrainians purchased 12,000 imported used passenger cars aged under 5 years.
