On April 20, 96 combat engagements occurred on the frontline, with Russian forces attempting to attack the Pokrovsk direction almost 40 times, conducting 1882 shelling incidents against defense positions and populated areas.

According to updated information, 96 combat engagements were recorded yesterday. The enemy conducted 1882 shelling against the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, including 33 from multiple rocket launchers, and used 957 kamikaze drones.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attempted to breach the defense near the settlement of Krasne Pershe.

In the Kupiansk direction, there was an attack by invaders near Holubivka.

The Lyman direction experienced 12 attacks, with attempts to penetrate our defenses near Nadija, Myrne, Hrekivka, Katerynivka, Nove, and Yamplivka.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy made three attempts to advance in the Bilohorivka and Ivanodarivka areas.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked five times around Chasiv Yar and towards Stupochky and Bilya Hora.

The Toretsk direction saw 10 attacks near Druzhba, Toretsk, and Leonidivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders halted 39 assault actions by the aggressor in the areas of Sukha Balka, Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, and Rozliv.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the enemy conducted five attacks in the areas of Kostiantynopil, Skudne, and towards Odradne.

In the Orikhiv direction, occupation troops attempted to advance four times on our defenders' positions in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Malyi Shcherbaky, and Stepove.

No clashes occurred in the Huliaipole and Dnipro directions over the past day.

No signs of enemy offensive group formations have been detected in the Volyn and Polissya regions.

In the Kursk region, the enemy conducted 184 shelling incidents, 17 of which were from MLRS. Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 assault attempts by the invaders.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are inflicting significant losses on the occupation forces in personnel and equipment while actively undermining the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
