On the evening of April 21, 2025, Odesa was struck by a devastating drone attack on a densely populated area of the city.
The assault caused damage to residential buildings, vital infrastructure, vehicles, and educational institutions. There are reported casualties.
Local authorities, emergency services, and municipal workers have arrived on the scene.
Operational headquarters have been set up at the addresses: 16 Inglezi Street and 23/25 Heroes of Krut Street. Additionally, a headquarters has been established at the Khadzhybey District Administration building on 22 Yevhen Tan Tsury Street.
District administration staff, in collaboration with municipal services, are accepting applications for financial assistance and providing guidance on the necessary documentation for processing.
Residents of affected buildings can also seek help and advice from the Khadzhybey District Administration at the following numbers: (048) 752 96 16, (048) 752 96 17.
Under the coordination of Odesa's city councilor Veronika Etnarovych, assistance points have been established on-site by charitable and public organizations, including “Tenth of April” with support from UNHCR, the Red Cross Society, World Central Kitchen, and “Winds of Change”.
